Misty was born in Roseville, California and grew-up around the local area. All her life, she has been interested in art, film and books and has aspirations of working in those industries, including writing and illustrating her own children’s books.

    As a conceptual artist and illustrator, she prefers to work with traditional mediums such as graphite, pen & ink, charcoal, watercolour and acrylic, although recently she has begun to mix that media with digital software, such as Corel Painter. Her current portfolio displays a number of different styles ranging from figurative and abstract to editorial, and stylized.

    During the week, she works as a graphic designer at a local granite & monument company, and complements that with freelance design and artwork by commission. She is currently involved with a number of gallery shows throughout the year, including a month long show in October at Borders in Roseville.
